Immersed in spirited colors!!

Absolutely fabulous from pointclickhome

Ruffled shower curtains by India Rose at Burkedecor

Amazing fabrics above

Above Louis XV desk from grange.fr

I am not sure of the origins of this photograph, but it certainly is color drenched and I just adore the lime green table and the boldly designed wall.

Rich, vibrant colors set against a brown checkered background. This fabric was designed by Patty Young...inspired by a vacation in the South of Spain. quilthome.com

Dramatic magenta, red, gold and orange room photo found at kiitosmarimekko, a New York Upper East Side concept store.

Vibrant Pillows

I adore almost all of these except the bolster and the turquoise pillow. Well, I really only like the pillows that have the amazing pink and red mix!!

....and another fuchsia sofa!

Only a year ago....it would be hard going to find a fuchsia or magenta sofa without custom ordering the fabric. Now THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And the selection of shades and hues of this magnificent...somewhat reminiscent of the 60's....pulsing pink COLOR is also abundant! Bravo and all that!

Designers Guild

Search through this blog and you will come to the conclusion that magenta and lime are my favorite colors. So true! But until recently it was hard going to find quality furniture in these brilliant hues. Lots of fuchsia, magenta, lime and other vibrant colors at designersguild.

Emma Gardner Rugs...this is just the smallest peek!

Deliciously vibrant rugs by Emma Gardner. Hot pink or magenta and orange are a match made in rainbow heaven (at least I think so anyway). Either rug could easily translate into fabric...or wallpaper....or a wall hanging. The hot pink rug especially blows me away and has my heart aflutter!!!

Silk and Wool....it changes everything

Lush...light reflective rugs by Carini Lang. One might not be all that bowled over with a checkered rug (bottom left..gold) but when silk is added it takes on a whole new dimension..literally and becomes an object of art that we want to lay down and roll on...make a snow angel (rug angel).....or whatever.

These rugs are positively drenched in extraordinary colors made irresistable with silk threads.

You know, you probably have to offer your first born or place a second mortgage on your home...but they are wondrous and maybe worth it...at least the first born part.

Unabashed C O L O R

In order to show you a whole bunch of artist, Susan Brown's brilliantly rendered works, I downsized them and squished into above boxes and diminished the explosive impact they have when seeing full screen. Hopefully this will persuade you to go see for yourself. This colors make me crazy and the loose, almost primitive approach, rips at my heart!!!! Completely in LOVE!!

Floor Art

Look at these rugs from anthropologie.com!! Really, these are so color drenched...so exciting...so expensive!

An Italian Villa

Architects, Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering, renovated this eighteenth century villa in Positano, Italy. I find it mesmerizing. I adore the low magenta striped seating.

In first photograph, see the top right insert of the second story room ? The third photograph is a view from the opposite end of this room. Just too intriguing!!

Diane Casteja.....Lisa Fontanarosa Collection

.......but that's not all!!

Lighting and glassware by Diane Casteja is full of movement and mesmerizing colors and just enough somethin somethin' to relay that perhaps we shouldn't take ourselves so seriously.

Sensuous Textiles by Brian Yates

So rich and inspiring...my heart is breaking right this second....breaking with luuuuuuuve.........for the clever talent and progressive thinking of human beings, in this case, Brian Yates (but really, behind every good man is an even greater woman...in this case Sheila Coombes). I think it is she that tends to the design aspects.

If I could have two living rooms...this might be that second one. I am crazy over color, especially magenta and hot pinks, but I think I would have gone white with the roman shades....or green. Am I just getting old and boring?

apartmenttherapy

The epitomy of the perfect magenta!

I posted this for the wall....looks to be layers of paint creating such depth, not to mention the photographers clever lighting! Ha.

I adore this handling of color! Wall paint is by Behr. You can find more information at dominomag

Clean and Crisp....spotlight on the Magenta!!

Although my home is color saturated head to toe.....this monochrome theme with shots of bold color really gets me.

It is all about the anchoring...the balance...and the furnishings do just this.
