GREEN....still a color...not just a point of view!!

Beautiful things in shades of green! Frilly umbrella from sbumbrella comes in several colors and styles and is, I think, charming!! The heavily distressed deep olive highboy and chest are both from invitinglighting. Green bedroom with white writing desk is from apartmentherapy.
Green puppy dog fabric is from a really neat site called bonbonkakku that prints and distributes fabrics designed by...well, anyone! One has to secure enough votes to have it printed. Check it out! Table runner can be found at dermondpeterson along with other deliciousness! Pacific-home carries the lime green console table and other treasures...many beachy...island oriented.

An Italian Villa

Architects, Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering, renovated this eighteenth century villa in Positano, Italy. I find it mesmerizing. I adore the low magenta striped seating.

In first photograph, see the top right insert of the second story room ? The third photograph is a view from the opposite end of this room. Just too intriguing!!

Sculptural Bed Frame

Would you look at that? Minimalism does not appeal to me except in the bathroom....and my eleven year old son's room (that will happen...not!) I am not very appreciative of the room itself. BUT wowee.....take a look at the sculptural bed frame. Need I say more? Well, maybe. I am pretty sure I would ram into the corners on a regular basis and taping a little bubble wrap on the corners might just take away from the artful silhouette. Runs about four grand. cinius

Not a Problem being Green

Dramatic wallpaper soothes with its soft swirls and contrasts beautifully with dark bedframe and white linens. Love this.

Kim Hastreiter...editor & publisher of Paper magazine

Not only a great sense of style and intense color, Kim Hastreiter is just someone you would want to know...and perhaps rummage through her really COOL things...and give the dog a cuddle too (looks like a Tibetan terrier, very special dogs). Omniarte Design by Erinn Valencich........I am crazy about green, especially lime and have painted my entire first floor in a softer lime...a first floor bathroom in a deep lime. I find it an amazing background for paintings and as a person who is at one with color (grin), it mixes great with magentas, violets, orange...all the colors inbetween the rainbow!! The curves and scrolls of the orange framed mirror resonate against the stylized vine wallpaper and wake up the SOUL, in a good way.
